CO-CREATING WITH PEOPLE & PLACE
Responsive design | integrating design process and outcome as one living system
The greatest skill of our times may be the capacity to respond with the places where we dwell: with their changing ecologies, with diverse human needs and aspirations, and with possibilities not yet imagined.
This becomes a collective journey, something we are learning together — as communities, designers and organisations — through listening, again and again.
My contribution is responsive practice.
As a landscape architect, collaboration guides everything I do. My approach is to create the conditions to work with who and what is already here, so that the process of design and its outcomes evolve together as one living system.
This practice leads to places that hold meaning, function and renewal for different people, over time — co-evolved, inhabited and continually adapting in response to changing human and ecological conditions.
